Utilizing skills acquired as a commercial photographer for the University of Arkansas, Brian Moore has applied his skills in the manner in which a painter would compose on canvas. Focusing on studio based studies, Moore’s images have evolved to focus upon color, form and texture as subject matter. Creating forms from paper, Moore then photographs these sculptural forms, which alter the appearance and texture of the paper, completing the expression and visual emotion of the form.

Using new technology, Brian Moore’s images are printed utilizing a process whereby the inks are transformed into a gas which is transferred and fused into the polyester coated surface of the metal. The image is in the surface, rather than on the surface, lending the images a particular luminosity. This method protects the photographic image from UV damage and surface soil.
